This brand, Petal & Pup, keeps popping up in our dress searches. Many of the styles are floral maxis that look breezy chic—like they could be appropriate for a beach wedding, or a rehearsal dinner. And the prices—barely over $100—seem hard to believe.
An Australian brand, Petal & Pup is now sold through Nordstrom and other U.S. department stores. We tried the strapless floral maxi on one of our real mom models, Mary, and were really impressed. The print was fun without being too distracting; the top-to-bottom pleating gave this silky maxi some extra volume and dimension.
The thing to know is there's no structure in the bodice, so you're going to need a good strapless bra, or a seamstress to help you build in some cups. At $109, that might be worth exploring! Sizes XS to XL. Buy from Nordstrom.
