Objects That Matter

Weddings bring up all the feels: loved ones we've lost; moments to pay tribute to those who mean the most. "Incorporate special memories/heirlooms into the rehearsal dinner or wedding day if you have items that are sentimental to you," suggests mother of the groom Tracy, who held onto her great grandmother's handkerchief during the mother/son dance with Blake.

For MOG Beth, it was a vintage black patent evening bag that belonged to her mother. “I lost her very young, so really wanted her with me at the ceremony.”

MOB Pam wiped her tears with an handkerchief given to her by her daughter Molly and embroidered with the words: "I will always be your little girl."

What heirlooms—old or new—will you include?
